At Lizzard, we prioritise your safety and the quality of our products. We understand that you may have questions regarding the materials used in the construction of our double-walled flasks, and we want to provide clarity and assurance about their safety.
The solder used in our current flask design, which contains a minimal amount of lead, is used solely to create a vacuum seal. This is essential for maintaining the insulation that keeps your beverages hot or cold. Importantly, this solder is securely located at the base of the flask, sealed between the two stainless steel layers. It does not come into contact with the liquid inside, ensuring there is no risk of lead exposure.
For added transparency, we have creating a diagram that clearly illustrates the placement of the solder within the flask’s structure.

While our current design is completely safe for use, we are committed to continuous improvement. We have already begun transitioning to a new manufacturing process that eliminates the use of lead entirely. This change reflects our dedication to sustainability and delivering the safest, most reliable products to our customers.
Your trust and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
